President Message
Welcome to the IOHSK!

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the IOHSK. In addition, a very big thank you to our colleagues and members who have worked on the development and establishment of an international organization for Health, Sports, and Kinesiology (IOHSK). The IOSHK promotes multidisciplinary studies in the field of sports, physical activity, kinesiology, and health.

The IOSHK will be an avenue for professional discourse among researchers, students, and practitioners in various specialties. The IOHSK will explore current issues, enhance networking opportunities, plan strategic solutions, advocate for our profession, and increase our service for the community.

To celebrate the establishment of our new organization and to accomplish one of our primary goals for the IOHSK, we have planned a series of the internationally distinguished scholar lectures. We are honored to introduce Dr. Thomas McKenzie, an internationally distinguished scholar as the first speaker to you. This special event will bring scholars, researchers, practitioners, and students together. Dr. McKenzie will give a special lecture entitled “Physical Activity: The Pill Not Taken” on Friday, July 31, 2020, at 5:00-6:00 in California time. We hope that this lecture will help you overcome obstacles that you are facing now and help you create ideas for the future. You are cordially invited to this special event. Please join us to celebrate our inaugural event.

Last, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Board of Directors and the CEO for allowing me to serve as the First President of the IOHSK for 2020-2022. It is also my great honor to have the trust of my Fellow Members to serve this outstanding organization. I would also like to address my sincere thank our exceptionally talented Founding Members for all their efforts to initiate, plan, develop, and establish the IOHSK. We look forward to meeting you at the event soon.

Thank you again for visiting IOHSK website, and we wish you the very best in your professions.
Dr. Soojin Yoo
President, IOHSK
