Based on the success of previous conferences, we will be hosting the International Annual Conference for 2021 that will be held on October 7-9, virtually. The theme for the 2021 International Conference is “Revitalization of Professionalism in Health, Sports, and Kinesiology”.  There are six different presentation options:

1. Track A: Original Research Presentations (400-700 words) - Unpublished original research presentations by faculty, researchers, and students.

2. Track B: Undergraduate Student Research Critiques (600-700 words) - Open to undergraduate students and their faculty mentors Each submission can include 1-4 undergraduate students and 1-2 faculty mentors.

3. Track C: Teaching/Coaching Ideas and Demonstrations (600-700 words) - Available for teachers and coaches only, with a brief lesson plan and a 10-12 minutes of teaching/coaching demonstration video (mp4) submission.

4. Track D: Pedagogical Practices and Ideas (600-700 words) - Available for faculty members only. Sharing innovative and creative pedagogical practices (i.e., curriculum, high impact practices, evaluation, assessment, instructional technology, virtual laboratory, collaborative activities in class, etc.) implemented and experienced by faculty members during the COVID-19 outbreak.

5. Track E: Research Grant Awardees’ Presentations (1200-1500 words) - Available for graduate student research grant awardees in 2021. Presentations on research findings.

6. Track F: Ongoing Research, Project, or Grant Briefing (400-700 words) - A short and factual presentation of ongoing or recently completed research, project, or grant activity. ​

• Submission Deadline: 11:59 PM (U.S. Pacific Time), September 19th, 2021

• All submitted proposals will be peer-reviewed.

• Decisions on acceptance/rejection will be made within 10 days of submission. 

• Authors of all accepted submissions will receive instructions on how to submit pre-recorded presentations in .mp4 format.

• The collection of ORCID iDs from corresponding authors is now part of the submission process of JOHSK.
