The 4th IOHSK International Conference, March 17-19, 2022

Based on the success of previous conferences, we will be hosting the International Annual Conference for 2022 that will be held on March 17-19, virtually. The theme for the 2022 International Conference is “Coping with COVID-19: Physical Education, Sports, Kinesiology, and Health”.  There are six different presentation options: 

  1. Track A: Original Research Oral Presentations (500-600 words): Unpublished original research presentations by faculty, researchers, and students.

  2. Track B: Original Research Poster Presentations (500-600 words): Unpublished original research presentations by faculty, researchers, and students.

  3. Track C: Undergraduate Student Research Critiques (500-600 words): Open to undergraduate students and their faculty mentors Each submission can include 1-4 undergraduate students and 1-2 faculty mentors.

  4. Track D: Teaching/Coaching Ideas and Demonstrations (500-600 words): Available for teachers and coaches only, with a brief lesson plan and a 10-12 minutes of teaching/coaching demonstration video (mp4) submission.

  5. Track E: Pedagogical Practices and Ideas (500-600 words): Available for faculty members only. Sharing innovative and creative pedagogical practices (i.e., curriculum, high impact practices, evaluation, assessment, instructional technology, virtual laboratory, collaborative activities in class, etc.) implemented and experienced by faculty members during the COVID-19 outbreak.

  6. Track F: Research Grant Awardees’ Presentations (1200-1500 words): Available for graduate student research grant awardees in 2021. Presentations on research findings.

  7. Track G: Ongoing Research, Project, or Grant Briefing (500-600 words): A short and factual presentation of ongoing or recently completed research, project, or grant activity. ​

  • Proposal Submissions:
    14-20 February 2022 (U.S. Pacific Time)

  • All submitted proposals will be peer-reviewed.

  • Decisions on acceptance/rejection (February 20-28, 2022) will be made within 10 days of submission. 

  • Authors of all accepted submissions will receive instructions on how to submit pre-recorded presentations in .mp4 format.

  • The collection of ORCID numbers from corresponding authors is now part of the submission process of JOHSK. If you already have an ORCID number, you will be asked to fill in it during the online submission process. If you do not currently have it, please follow this link to create FREE account:
